Outdoor CleanWipes singles TDS
Outdoor CleanWipes™ Singles
Outdoor CleanWipes™ Singles are hermetically sealed, individual wipes engineered for fast, reliable fiber optic connector cleaning in challenging outdoor environments. Each packet stays clean and dry until opened — protecting against rain, snow, dust, and wind. The compact design fits easily into tool kits and pockets, and each wipe cleans up to six connector end-faces across LC, SC, ST, FC, E2000, and female MPO connector types.
Key Features
The Outdoor CleanWipes™ Singles combines ease of use with superior cleaning performance — making it the go-to solution for maintaining high-density optical connections.
Specs & Standards
Each individual packet provides up to 6 connector end-face cleanings — hermetically sealed to stay clean until opened, meeting ANSI/TIA, Telcordia, and all major optical cleaning standards.

Benefits & Applications
Hermetic sealing keeps each wipe clean and dry until the moment it's needed — rain, snow, dust, and wind cannot contaminate the wipe before use, making these the standard choice for OSP and outdoor fiber work.
Ensure clean connections in outdoor OSP installations — aerial, duct, and pedestal termination points where weather exposure makes hermetically sealed single packets the only practical cleaning format.
Ideal for cleaning fiber optic connectors during maintenance and installation in data centers — single packets eliminate cross-contamination risk from shared wipe containers in high-density patching environments.
Suitable for use in harsh industrial settings where dust, moisture, and airborne contaminants are prevalent — hermetic packaging ensures a clean wipe is always available regardless of the surrounding environment.
How to Use
For best results follow the inspect-clean-inspect process on every connector before mating.
Tear open the hermetically sealed packet just before use — do not open until ready to clean to ensure the wipe remains uncontaminated.
Gently wipe the connector end-face with light pressure to remove dust, oils, and other contaminants. Each wipe cleans up to six connector end-faces before disposal.
For enhanced cleaning of heavily contaminated end-faces, apply Sticklers™ Fiber Optic Splice & Connector Cleaner (#MCC-POC03M) to the wipe before wiping — strong, nonhazardous, fast-drying pocket spray.
After use, dispose of the wipe properly to prevent reintroducing contamination to connectors or the surrounding work area.
