The Optical Grade Particle & Dust Remover is an aerosol can of super-pure, double-filtered dry gas — delivering high-pressure, abrasion-free removal of dust, lint, and particulates from fiber optic connectors, ports, test instruments, and sensitive electronics. Nonflammable and safe for use on energized equipment, with a lockable variable-control trigger and removable extension tube for precision access to hard-to-reach areas. Leaves zero residue on optical surfaces.

How to Use

For best results follow the inspect-clean-inspect process on every connector before mating.

Position the Cleaner

Align the Optical Grade Particle & Dust Remover with the connector end-face — ensure the cleaning ribbon aperture is correctly oriented to the ferrule face before advancing the ribbon.

Advance the Ribbon

Use the manual advance wheel to extend a fresh section of micro-woven cleaning ribbon — this ensures each cleaning uses an uncontaminated ribbon surface.

Clean the Connector

Press gently against the connector end-face and rotate to ensure complete coverage of the ferrule — the micro-woven ribbon traps debris without scratching the optical surface.

Dispose After Use

Safely dispose of the cassette cleaner after use to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination — do not reuse a spent cassette on additional connectors.
