How to Use

For best results follow the inspect-clean-inspect process on every connector before mating.

Select the Correct Stick Size

Choose by connector type — 1.25 mm (LC/MU), 1.6–2.0 mm (MIL-C), 2.5 mm (SC/ST/FC), MCC-XMT (SMA/MTP/biconic), or MCC-P25 (cylindrical/AIR). Color-coded packaging prevents size mix-ups.

Dry or Wet-Dry Cleaning

Use the stick dry for standard cleaning. For heavily soiled or oil-contaminated connectors, apply a small amount of Sticklers™ Fiber Optic Splice & Connector Cleaner to the tip before use.

Clean the End-Face

Insert the stick into the connector ferrule and rotate gently — the precision-molded tip covers the entire end-face including the outer cladding, not just the central core.

Reseal the Bag

Return unused sticks to the reclosable high-purity bag between uses — do not leave sticks exposed in open air where airborne contamination can settle on the tips.
